What You’ll Do
- Collect and prepare statistical data related to Human Resource Development (HRD) activities.
- Prepare reports and minutes for relevant HRD meetings.
- Provide guidance on breaches of nursing contracts and help in resolving related issues.
- Participate in meetings and serve as the secretariat for HRD committees.
- Implement and supervise the Performance Management and Development System (PMDS) along with training initiatives.
- Develop and oversee the Workplace Skills Plan, HR Plan, and Employment Equity Plan.
- Coordinate training interventions, including learnerships and skills development programs.
- Advise and support managers and supervisors on performance management processes.
- Conduct workshops in alignment with HR policies and facilitate skills audits.
- Ensure the professional development of supervisees, enhancing their performance and capacity.
What You’ll Need
- A Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources Management, Public Management, or Public Administration.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Planning, Training, and Development.
- In-depth knowledge of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and related employment laws.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in report writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Skills in policy analysis, facilitation, conflict management, and project management.
