What You’ll Do
- Provide quality comprehensive primary health care services to clients and the community.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to established guidelines.
- Promote preventive health care and rehabilitative services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to maintain accreditation standards.
- Compile daily statistics and submit monthly reports as required.
- Organize and manage work, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
- Mentor and support junior nurses and other support personnel.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with SANC regulations.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate (Senior Certificate) and a Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Science and Midwifery.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in general nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- A one-year post-basic qualification in Primary Health Care.
- Strong knowledge of health legislation and nursing practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
