What You’ll Do

• Provide quality comprehensive primary health care services to clients and the community.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to established guidelines.
• Promote preventive health care and rehabilitative services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to maintain accreditation standards.
• Compile daily statistics and submit monthly reports as required.
• Organize and manage work, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
• Mentor and support junior nurses and other support personnel.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with SANC regulations.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 certificate (Senior Certificate) and a Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Science and Midwifery.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in general nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse.
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• A one-year post-basic qualification in Primary Health Care.
• Strong knowledge of health legislation and nursing practices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
