What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the compilation of tender and quotation specifications as required.
  • Conduct briefing sessions for stakeholders involved in procurement.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and maintain procurement plans.
  • Serve as a secretariat for Bid Specification and Bid Evaluation Committees.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for awarded bids and procurement documents.
  • Compile bid documents and publish invitations for tenders.
  • Verify alignment of acquisitions with Demand Management Plans.
  • Assist with audit queries and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule and organize meetings, providing secretarial support as needed.
  • Collate monthly and quarterly progress reports on procurement activities.

What You’ll Need

  • National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or a relevant qualification (NQF level 6).
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Demand Management and Tender Administration.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of administrative and procurement procedures.
  • Familiarity with Public Financial Management Act and supply chain management frameworks.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
