What You’ll Do

• Maintain and develop the facility garden, ensuring it is well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
• Clean and manage the surroundings, including parking areas and pathways.
• Prepare soil for planting and care for trees, flowers, shrubs, and grass in the designated garden areas.
• Remove weeds and assist with the maintenance of the grounds.
• Water gardens and ensure all plants receive appropriate care.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for events or maintenance work.
• Clean gutters and carry out various tasks as directed by your supervisor.
• Adhere to safety regulations while performing all duties.

What You’ll Need

• ABET Level 4 or NQF Level 1 to 3 qualifications.
• A strong, healthy physique to manage the physical demands of the role.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience in gardening or a formal cleaning environment is preferable.
• Capability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Flexibility to rotate to different areas when necessary.
