What You’ll Do

• Maintain and develop the facility garden, including planting and caring for trees, flowers, and shrubs.
• Clean and keep the surroundings tidy, creating an inviting atmosphere.
• Prepare soil for planting and manage the health of the garden.
• Remove weeds and ensure the garden beds are well-maintained.
• Water the gardens regularly and ensure that parking and pathways are clean.
• Move furniture and equipment as necessary to assist in various tasks.
• Adhere to safety regulations while executing duties.
• Carry out any other responsibilities delegated by your supervisor.

What You’ll Need

• ABET Level 4 or NQF Level 1 to 3 qualifications.
• A physically strong and healthy disposition to cope with the demands of the role.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure.
• Preferable experience in gardening or a formal cleaning environment.
• Willingness to rotate to different areas as needed.
