What You’ll Do

  • Implement communal land tenure projects to improve land security for communities.
  • Initiate awareness programs and capacity-building sessions on communal land management.
  • Provide support to land rights management structures, ensuring legal protection and awareness.
  • Facilitate and mediate in cases of land rights violations and disputes.
  • Conduct the implementation of communal tenure upgrade programs and land rights projects.
  • Respond to queries related to land rights initiatives.
  • Maintain a database of Communal Property Associations (CPA) and similar entities.
  • Conduct investigations and provide administrative support services, including clerical tasks and logistical arrangements.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Social Science, Legal Qualification, or a related field (NQF Level 6).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in tenure reform or a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Thorough knowledge of land tenure security matters and relevant legislation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and report writing.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for work-related commitments.
