What You’ll Do

  • Lead the planning and execution of projects within the Jobs Fund, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and financials while mitigating risks associated with project delivery.
  • Compile and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing insights on activity progress and outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments and the private sector.
  • Oversee project documentation to ensure compliance with agreed standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the financial management of projects, including monitoring expenditure and identifying trends for improvement.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project processes and methodologies through learning and adaptation.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Development Finance, Economics, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project or programme management, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and project management tools.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a focus on customer service excellence.
