What You’ll Do
- Provide project planning support by developing operational plans and determining targets.
- Engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the project area.
- Oversee recruitment and management of project field workers according to EPWP guidelines.
- Ensure the successful implementation of training plans and project objectives.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and compliance.
- Monitor project cash flow and complete key performance indicator reports.
- Facilitate project close-out services, including inspections and completion certification.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma (NQF 6) or higher in Natural or Environmental Sciences or a relevant qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Project Coordinator in a Natural Resources Management field.
- Knowledge of project management principles and alien vegetation control.
- Proficiency in general administration, including financial processes and departmental procedures.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage difficult situations, and oversee field workers.
