What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing care within the Child Health Care Unit.
- Ensure effective management of resources and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement programs to enhance healthcare delivery.
- Supervise nursing staff and implement patient care standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient management.
- Ensure compliance with Infection Prevention and Control policies.
- Report on patient safety incidents and challenges within the unit.
- Engage in staff development and performance management initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
- Basic qualification accredited with the SANC in General Nursing.
- Post-basic nursing qualification specializing in Critical Care Nursing Science.
- Minimum of four years of experience as a registered Professional Nurse.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Good supervisory and teaching abilities.
