What You’ll Do
- Ensure high-quality nursing care for neonates by assessing nursing needs and implementing care plans.
- Render and supervise specialized clinical nursing care within the Neonatology unit.
- Educate nursing personnel on best practices and care protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Manage human, material, and physical resources efficiently.
What You’ll Need
- Basic R425 qualification or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- A post-basic nursing qualification in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science, or a relevant 4-year Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
- Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- A minimum of 4 years (Grade 1) or 14 years (Grade 2) of recognized nursing experience post-registration.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
