What You’ll Do

• Ensure high-quality nursing care for neonates by assessing nursing needs and implementing care plans.
• Render and supervise specialized clinical nursing care within the Neonatology unit.
• Educate nursing personnel on best practices and care protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Manage human, material, and physical resources efficiently.

What You’ll Need

• Basic R425 qualification or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• A post-basic nursing qualification in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science, or a relevant 4-year Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
• Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• A minimum of 4 years (Grade 1) or 14 years (Grade 2) of recognized nursing experience post-registration.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
