The Tara the H. Moross Centre in Sandton is seeking a dedicated Principal Psychologist to join its team. What You’ll Do

• Plan and manage psychological services across hospital treatment units.
• Provide clinical services and therapeutic support as a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
• Supervise and train interns, junior psychologists, and medical students in clinical practice.
• Conduct and promote research projects within the institution.
• Serve on the Extended Management Team and participate in hospital committees.
• Collaborate with various external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

What You’ll Need

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience post-registration.
• Proficiency in providing and overseeing psychological services, with experience in multi-disciplinary team settings.
• Strong skills in clinical supervision and teaching, including knowledge of the Mental Health Care Act.
• Excellent communication, administrative, and leadership abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and computer literacy; experience in a Specialized Psychiatry Hospital is an advantage.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Family Therapy will be beneficial.
