What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and manage the administration processes for various service terminations, including resignations and retirements.
  • Administer leave processes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the processing of leave gratuities and the preparation of pension documents.
  • Manage long service awards, medical aid, and housing allowances for personnel.
  • Utilize PERSAL transactions to effectively manage service benefits.
  • Prepare analysis and reports on CoE liabilities and other relevant HR metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to Batho Pele Principles and HR policies at all times.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 6 qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent, recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resource Management, specifically in Conditions of Services.
  • Successful completion of PERSAL Administration training is required.
  • A valid South African driver’s license is necessary (exceptions apply for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and PILIR.
  • Proficiency in using the PERSAL and PCM Systems.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, business writing, and report generation skills.
  • Strong computer literacy and accurate data management abilities.
  • Effective communication and client orientation skills.
