What You’ll Do
- Monitor parliamentary and executive events to identify key issues relating to the Minister’s portfolio.
- Provide effective and efficient support services for parliamentary operations.
- Coordinate movements between Pretoria and Cape Town offices during parliamentary sessions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant public service policies and departmental prescripts.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between various stakeholders within the government.
What You’ll Need
- A Matric/Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
- An Advanced Diploma or Degree in Public Administration, Management, or a relevant qualification (NQF level 7 as recognised by SAQA).
- 3-5 years of experience in a management role, preferably at the Assistant Director or Middle management level.
- Knowledge of Ministry operations and the South African political and parliamentary processes is an advantage.
- Proficient in computer applications with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven management competencies and resource management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel as required.
