About the Role
The Department of Employment and Labour is seeking a dedicated Monitoring and Reporting (MR) Evidence Checker for the Jobs Fund, based in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough verification of data submitted by project partners to ensure accuracy and validity.
- Authenticate program participants through telephonic communication and document their received services.
- Produce detailed verification and error reports for the Team Leader.
- Follow up on any missing evidence and communicate discrepancies in data promptly.
- Maintain organized records and accurate documentation in the storage facility.
- Provide administrative support to the team and assist in research projects on job creation and systemic change.
What You’ll Need
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in a relevant field such as Economics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or Public Management.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration, finance, or Monitoring & Evaluation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and data management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of South African economic development policies and grant management principles.
