What You’ll Do

  • Drive light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and deliver items such as mail and documents.
  • Ensure timely and safe transport of passengers to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards.
  • Collect, distribute, and file official documents and parcels accurately.
  • Adhere to all driving regulations and safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle.
  • Complete necessary documentation and obtain authorization for vehicle use.
  • Assist with registry office tasks and any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 or Matric Certificate.
  • A valid South African Driver’s License (Code 10/C1) and a Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP).
  • Up to 1 year of experience in a driver or messenger role.
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess vehicle condition for safety.
  • Customer-oriented attitude and effective time management.
