What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive orthopaedic care and support to patients.
• Develop, implement, and audit clinical protocols and guidelines.
• Manage and supervise junior staff to enhance their professional growth.
• Participate in after-hours services and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Engage in continuous medical education and training programs.
• Conduct and oversee research, contributing to academic publications.
• Assist in developing management protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in outreach programs to improve community health awareness.

What You’ll Need

• Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• MBCHB degree or equivalent, with registration as a Medical Specialist with the HPCSA in Orthopaedics.
• Grade 1: No experience required; registrars who have completed their training may apply.
• Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years’ experience post-registration as a Medical Specialist.
• Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years’ experience post-registration as a Medical Specialist.
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of orthopaedics and current health legislation.
