What You’ll Do

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of policies for school governance stakeholders.
• Manage school affairs to ensure compliance with established norms and standards.
• Coordinate the management of safety and beautification initiatives for schools.
• Supervise the provision of Early Childhood Development (ECD) services.
• Lead evaluations and reporting on school performance and functionality.
• Develop and coordinate school improvement plans to enhance educational outcomes.
• Ensure continuous improvement in the provision of quality public education across the province.

What You’ll Need

• An NQF level 7 qualification recognized by SAQA.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification in education or management is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role.
• SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) Certificate upon appointment.
• Valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
• Strong leadership and strategic capability.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Functional computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of public sector regulations and educational management frameworks.
