What You’ll Do
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of policies for school governance stakeholders.
- Manage school affairs to ensure compliance with established norms and standards.
- Coordinate the management of safety and beautification initiatives for schools.
- Supervise the provision of Early Childhood Development (ECD) services.
- Lead evaluations and reporting on school performance and functionality.
- Develop and coordinate school improvement plans to enhance educational outcomes.
- Ensure continuous improvement in the provision of quality public education across the province.
What You’ll Need
- An NQF level 7 qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in education or management is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role.
- SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) Certificate upon appointment.
- Valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
- Strong leadership and strategic capability.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Functional computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of public sector regulations and educational management frameworks.
