What You’ll Do

• Supervise and manage school principals in curriculum delivery and school administration
• Support school management teams and governing bodies in effective governance
• Conduct performance reviews and appraisals of school principals
• Monitor and assist in implementing performance management systems
• Evaluate school infrastructure and communicate needs to the relevant departments
• Facilitate and coordinate examinations and assessments in schools
• Guide and support schools in maintaining a fair labor environment
• Manage selection processes for the appointment of school principals
• Develop profiles for all allocated schools
• Drive the implementation of teaching and learning initiatives in line with departmental objectives

What You’ll Need

• A recognized three- or four-year qualification, including professional teacher education
• A postgraduate qualification in education is an advantage
• Nine years of experience in the educational field
• Registration with SACE as a professional educator
• A valid driver’s license (except for candidates living with disabilities)
• Strong knowledge of curriculum transformation, performance management, and educational legislation
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
