What You’ll Do

• Oversee the management and supervision of district, circuit, and school performance.
• Ensure effective planning at the district level and adequate resource allocation.
• Set clear goals and performance expectations for the district, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Enhance district cooperative functionality and strategic capability for efficient resource utilization.
• Lead and support teams to foster a culture of accountability and high performance within the education sector.

What You’ll Need

• An NQF level 7 qualification recognized by SAQA.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification in education or management is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at a senior managerial level.
• SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) Certificate upon appointment.
• A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
• Strong competencies in strategic capability, leadership, people management, and financial management.
• Competency in problem-solving, client orientation, and communication, along with functional computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
