What You’ll Do

• Manage and treat patients in a level 2/3 package of service facility effectively.
• Assist in creating and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in academic training programs to promote continuous professional development.
• Conduct clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide support to hospital management to uphold high standards of patient care.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Supervise and guide junior staff within the department.

What You’ll Need

• An MBChB degree that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
• A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience post-registration with HPCSA.
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics and current health regulations.
• Experience in relevant medical disciplines, such as Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Anaesthesiology, and Urology.
• Strong clinical assessment and management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach and mentor junior staff effectively.
