What You’ll Do
- Manage and treat patients in a level 2/3 package of service facility effectively.
- Assist in creating and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in academic training programs to promote continuous professional development.
- Conduct clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide support to hospital management to uphold high standards of patient care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Supervise and guide junior staff within the department.
What You’ll Need
- An MBChB degree that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience post-registration with HPCSA.
- Sound knowledge of medical ethics and current health regulations.
- Experience in relevant medical disciplines, such as Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Anaesthesiology, and Urology.
- Strong clinical assessment and management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach and mentor junior staff effectively.
