What You’ll Do

  • Conduct examinations, investigations, diagnoses, and oversee patient treatments in your allocated department.

  • Ensure adherence to departmental treatment guidelines and quality standards.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior certificate and an MBCHB or equivalent degree for independent practice.
  • Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Medical Practitioner.
  • Experience requirements:
  • Grade 1: None for South African qualified employees; one year for foreign qualified employees.
  • Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years for South African qualified employees; 6 years for foreign qualified employees.
  • Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years for South African qualified employees; 11 years for foreign qualified employees.
  • Strong patient care skills, courteous demeanor, and effective time management.
