What You’ll Do
- Manage a wide spectrum of medical conditions, ensuring quality patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff to enhance their skills.
- Conduct outpatient consultations for chronic disease management.
- Brief and counsel patients and their families on treatment options and health prevention strategies.
- Develop skills in resuscitation and intensive care measures for critically ill patients.
- Participate in commuted overtime duties as required by the role.
What You’ll Need
- A valid Matric certificate.
- An appropriate qualification for registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
- Current annual registration with the HPCSA for 2026/2027.
- Relevant experience post-registration as a Medical Practitioner (1 year for Grade 1, 5 years for Grade 2, 10 years for Grade 3).
- Knowledge of Public Service legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on integrity and professionalism.
- Experience in Childcare, Maternity, Surgical, and Pediatrics will be advantageous.
