What You’ll Do

• Manage a wide spectrum of medical conditions, ensuring quality patient care.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff to enhance their skills.
• Conduct outpatient consultations for chronic disease management.
• Brief and counsel patients and their families on treatment options and health prevention strategies.
• Develop skills in resuscitation and intensive care measures for critically ill patients.
• Participate in commuted overtime duties as required by the role.

What You’ll Need

• A valid Matric certificate.
• An appropriate qualification for registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
• Current annual registration with the HPCSA for 2026/2027.
• Relevant experience post-registration as a Medical Practitioner (1 year for Grade 1, 5 years for Grade 2, 10 years for Grade 3).
• Knowledge of Public Service legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on integrity and professionalism.
• Experience in Childcare, Maternity, Surgical, and Pediatrics will be advantageous.
