What You’ll Do

  • Implement and monitor the Local Office’s operational plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Foster partnerships with stakeholders and represent the office in various forums.
  • Manage human, physical, and financial resources effectively within the Local Office.
  • Coach staff on compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
  • Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives within the office.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Public Management, Public Administration, or a related field at NQF level 6.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience at a junior management or assistant director level in an operations-focused role.
  • Knowledge of South African constitutional law and relevant public service frameworks.
  • Strong project management abilities and experience with online systems.
  • Proficiency in financial management principles and relevant legislation such as the Public Finance Management Act.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
