About the Opportunity
Join the 12-month Traffic Officer Learnership Programme designed for passionate young South Africans eager to contribute to road safety and community service. This comprehensive programme offers structured training at the Traffic College, combining classroom learning, practical training, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities
Participants will receive training in traffic legislation, road safety education, practical traffic enforcement, physical fitness, law enforcement procedures, professional conduct, public service ethics, communication skills, and driver behavior management.

Requirements/Qualifications
Applicants must have a Grade 12/NQF Level 4 qualification recognized by SAQA, be aged between 18 and 35, possess a valid driver’s license, have no criminal record, and meet medical, mental, and physical fitness standards. Visible tattoos and disqualification under the Firearms Control Act are not permitted.

Benefits
Successful learners will receive an annual stipend of R70,383.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will undergo practical assessments, integrity checks, qualification verification, security clearance, and personnel suitability checks. Interviewees must provide a medical certificate, certified educational qualifications, ID, and driver’s license.

Documents Required
Applications must include a new Z83 Application Form, a comprehensive CV, and certified copies of qualifications, ID, and driver’s license when requested.
