What You’ll Do

• Conduct assessments of agricultural land suitability and capability.
• Implement agricultural land use planning and management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant agricultural legislation, including CARA, NEMA, and SPLUMA.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and facilitate discussions on land use planning.
• Plan and set goals for projects related to land management.
• Analyze and interpret data related to land use and environmental impact.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 certificate plus a relevant NQF Level 6 National Diploma in Land Use Planning, Agricultural Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Land Care and Land Use Management.
• A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for individuals with disabilities).
• In-depth knowledge of legislation impacting land use and agricultural resources.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
