What You’ll Do

  • Provide advice and guidance on labour relations issues to management and employees.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about changes in labour legislation.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and internal HR policies.
  • Act as an advisor on strategies to minimize workplace conflicts.
  • Attend and present at internal and external forums on labour relations.
  • Investigate employee grievances and disputes, representing the department in hearings.
  • Liaise with unions and stakeholders on collective bargaining matters.
  • Maintain accurate records related to labour relations and compliance reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings and information-sharing sessions with stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and review of labour relations policies.

What You’ll Need

  • A tertiary NQF level 6 qualification in Labour Law, Labour Relations, HRM, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in the Labour Relations field.
  • A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of Labour Relations legislation and processes.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications and record-keeping.
