What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement the district’s Information Management Operational Plan.
- Monitor and evaluate district performance information against set targets.
- Capture, analyse, and collate data from service points and programs.
- Produce quarterly and annual reports to support decision-making.
- Coordinate and facilitate training related to information management.
- Provide assistance to data capturers at service points and institutions.
- Conduct quarterly quality data audits to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Oversee the implementation of the Social Development Information Management System and other performance management systems.
- Manage the information management budget and related human resources.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma, B.Tech, or Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Information Science, or Information Technology (NQF 6/7) with a statistical background.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an information management environment, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in statistical software packages.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant Public Service policies and legislation.
- Strong report-writing and presentation skills.
- High level of computer literacy, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and the ability to work under pressure.
- A valid driver’s licence.
