What You’ll Do

  • Ensure the implementation of Human Resource Management directives, policies, and strategies.
  • Coordinate the Employee Performance Management Development System (EPMDS) within the department.
  • Facilitate the submission and maintenance of performance agreements and work plans.
  • Monitor compliance with EPMDS and provide support and guidance to the training unit.
  • Supervise staff and manage the PMDS Policy to ensure effective execution.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations, including mid-year and final assessments.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 6/7) in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resource management, with at least 3 years at a supervisory level.
  • A valid driver’s license and proficiency in computer skills.
  • Strong planning, organising, communication, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and policies governing public service, including PFMA, Public Service Act, and Labour Relations Act.
  • Competencies in human resource practices, capacity building, and employee wellness.
