What You’ll Do
- Prepare samples for analysis, including testing for chemical residues and other important metrics.
- Conduct routine analysis of samples with the guidance of senior staff.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Report any faulty equipment to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
- Keep laboratories clean and organized, including sterilizing glassware and equipment.
- Support animal production stock control functions as needed.
- Assist with various administrative tasks related to laboratory operations.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate with science and mathematics as recommended subjects, or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
- Strong ability to read and write in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good time management and conflict resolution abilities.
- A basic understanding of data analysis techniques.
