What You’ll Do

• Prepare samples for analysis, including testing for chemical residues and other important metrics.
• Conduct routine analysis of samples with the guidance of senior staff.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Report any faulty equipment to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
• Keep laboratories clean and organized, including sterilizing glassware and equipment.
• Support animal production stock control functions as needed.
• Assist with various administrative tasks related to laboratory operations.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 certificate with science and mathematics as recommended subjects, or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
• Strong ability to read and write in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and conflict resolution abilities.
• A basic understanding of data analysis techniques.
