What You’ll Do

  • Prepare deeds for examination and endorse them as necessary.
  • Verify registration information against data records to ensure accuracy.
  • Examine deeds and documents for correctness and compliance with legal standards.
  • Raise notes to guide relevant authorities and ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Consult with clients and conveyancers regarding deed-related queries.
  • Distribute deeds and documents according to transactions and batches.
  • Attend to rectifications of office errors and update relevant manuals and circulars.
  • Check and interpret interdicts, township files, and sectional titles files.
  • Keep records of townships, sectional schemes, and expedited deeds.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Law, Deeds Registration Law, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of deeds registration processes and property law.
  • Strong computer literacy and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and solve problems as they arise.
  • Good numerical and interpretation skills to understand complex documents.
