About the Role
The Department of Agriculture is seeking a dedicated Investigator: Compliance & Enforcement to join their team at the Head Office. What You’ll Do
- Participate in and organize covert and overt investigations related to compliance and enforcement.
- Plan and coordinate compliance monitoring efforts in line with departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to ensure effective governance and compliance.
- Conduct administrative functions to support investigative activities.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to investigations and findings.
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate and a National Diploma (NQF L6) in Policing, Law, Forensic Investigation, Criminology, or related fields.
- A minimum of 3 years of operational experience in criminal investigation.
- Familiarity with NEMA, Ciskei Act, Transkei Decree, and Cape Ordinance.
- Strong skills in problem analysis, communication, and interpersonal relations.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Proficient report writing skills.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
