As an intern, you will engage in the implementation of the Performance Management and Development System (PMDS), which is essential for fostering a productive work environment within the UIF. What You’ll Do

  • Assist in implementing the Performance Management and Development System for the UIF.
  • Support the Fund’s Performance Structures to enhance employee performance.
  • Capture Performance Management documents on the PERSAL system.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the Performance and Development System.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Management, Public Administration, Human Resource Development, or Industrial and Organizational Psychology at NQF Level 6, as recognized by SAQA.
  • No previous experience required; candidates should not have participated in any Internship Programme (Public or Private).
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Management concepts and practices.
  • Understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Performance Management System (PMS), Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), and Public Service Act (PSA).
  • Strong skills in time management, communication, computer literacy, interpersonal interactions, as well as planning and organizing capabilities.
