The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Practitioner to join their team at the Head Office in Pretoria. The Human Resources Practitioner will be responsible for managing recruitment processes, overseeing remuneration matters, and compiling essential reports that contribute to the effective functioning of the public service.

What You’ll Do

  • Advertise open positions and manage related administrative tasks, including filing and record-keeping of requests.
  • Follow up on outstanding panel requests for advertising posts.
  • Handle remuneration matters for employees under the National Prosecuting Authority Act and Public Service Act.
  • Generate and compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to track human resource activities.
  • Maintain accurate monthly data relevant for reporting purposes.

What You’ll Need

  • A B-degree (NQF level 7) or a three-year Diploma (NQF level 6) in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resource Administration, particularly in recruitment and public service remuneration.
  • Proficiency in PERSAL and completion of the PERSAL introduction course is mandatory.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and familiar with other MS Office packages.
  • Strong administrative skills with a focus on professionalism, accountability, and credibility.
  • Understanding of public service legislation, including the Public Service Act, NPA Act, and other relevant regulations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with strong planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
