What You’ll Do
- Oversee Human Resource Management and Administration services, including leave, housing, medical, and pensions.
- Manage recruitment and selection processes, ensuring timely coordination of interviews and evaluations.
- Maintain HR personnel records and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Administer bursaries, internships, and work-integrated learning initiatives.
- Develop and implement the Workplace Skills Plan and Performance Management Systems.
- Facilitate organizational development, job evaluations, and change management processes.
- Coordinate Human Resource Planning and Employment Equity services, ensuring integration with departmental plans.
- Implement employee health and wellness programs, promoting a healthy workplace culture.
- Develop and manage HR policies and manuals, ensuring all practices align with legislation.
- Provide advisory services on employee relations, handling grievances, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.
What You’ll Need
- Matric/Grade 12 and a recognized National Diploma in Human Resources Management or a 4-year Degree.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Human Resource Management environment, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- PERSAL Certificates and proof of computer literacy in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- In-depth knowledge of public service legislation, including BCEA, LRA, EEA, and COIDA.
- Strong understanding of HR Risk and Compliance, and experience with CCMA processes.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
