What You’ll Do

  • Verify information on leave application forms to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Process and finalize leave applications efficiently.
  • Administer and manage applications for medical boards, including those related to stress and depression.
  • Handle service termination, discharge, and pension applications.
  • Maintain and submit various HR reports, including statistical data and performance enhancement process reports.
  • Support the transfer application process by submitting requests to the Head of HRM.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least four years of experience in a human resources role.
  • A three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) as recognized by SAQA is preferred.
  • A valid light motor vehicle driver’s license is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of relevant public service prescripts and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in general computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to act independently while demonstrating professionalism and accountability.
