The Department of the Premier in the Western Cape Government is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director: Provincial Programme and Project to join their team. What You’ll Do
- Produce accurate and relevant data products that meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Implement the Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation framework within the department.
- Build and maintain a responsive Provincial Data Office operating model.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance data capabilities among stakeholders.
- Develop and advance a robust data ecosystem that supports effective performance planning and reporting.
What You’ll Need
- A 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (or higher qualification) in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in performance planning and data management.
- A valid Code B driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation, performance data management systems, and public management practices.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
