What You’ll Do

  • Implement and manage internships and learnerships to support workforce development.
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and placement processes for these programmes.
  • Monitor and evaluate internship programmes, providing comprehensive reports on their progress and outcomes.
  • Foster strategic partnerships to enhance the effectiveness of HR development initiatives.
  • Administer and manage bursary programmes, including awarding and monitoring.
  • Scrutinise applications for recognition of improved qualifications and manage relevant administrative processes.
  • Compile management reports on bursaries, youth programmes, and recognition of improved qualifications for various stakeholders.
  • Supervise the HRD Clerk to ensure efficient operations within the department.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma or B-Degree).
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in human resource development or a related field.
  • Knowledge of public service legislation and human resource management policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capable of conducting research and managing projects effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure to meet deadlines.
