What You’ll Do

  • Provide housekeeping and cleaning services, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Remove garbage and maintain hygiene in restrooms and shared spaces.
  • Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, and control stock levels of cleaning materials.
  • Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any repairs needed.
  • Implement simple security measures and monitor hazards in the facility.
  • Perform basic maintenance repairs as directed and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Assess the hygiene situation and address potential problems proactively.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF level 1 or 2 (or equivalent ABET level 2 certificate).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physical strength to cope with the demands of the position.
  • A reliable and honest character, with a team-oriented approach.
