What You’ll Do

• Provide essential support services to patients and hospital staff.
• Transport patients safely to and from wards and various service areas.
• Collect and deliver specimens, documents, and equipment to different departments.
• Assist with the moving of patients from ambulances and vehicles onto stretchers.
• Maintain cleanliness of stretchers and wheelchairs after each use.
• Handle mortuary services, including the proper recording and storing of corpses.
• Report any faulty or broken equipment to your supervisor immediately.
• Ensure proper identification and record-keeping for all tasks completed.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 3 (Grade 10 certificate or equivalent).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and under pressure.
• A solid understanding of customer care principles.
