About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Provide essential support services to patients and hospital staff.
- Transport patients safely to and from wards and various service areas.
- Collect and deliver specimens, documents, and equipment to different departments.
- Assist with the moving of patients from ambulances and vehicles onto stretchers.
- Maintain cleanliness of stretchers and wheelchairs after each use.
- Handle mortuary services, including the proper recording and storing of corpses.
- Report any faulty or broken equipment to your supervisor immediately.
- Ensure proper identification and record-keeping for all tasks completed.
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 3 (Grade 10 certificate or equivalent).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work shifts and under pressure.
- A solid understanding of customer care principles.
