What You’ll Do

  • Perform housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of assigned areas
  • Manage the disposal of garbage and maintain hygiene in restrooms and bathrooms
  • Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they are safe for use
  • Maintain and control stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils
  • Safeguard and properly store cleaning equipment and products
  • Implement basic security measures, including locking doors and closing windows
  • Monitor and report any hazards related to fire and electricity
  • Conduct simple maintenance repairs as needed and ensure adherence to hygiene regulations

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Physical capability to handle the demands of the role
  • Honest, reliable, and a strong team player
