What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive MFOS clinical services across multiple facilities.
- Participate in normal working hours and after-hours duties as per departmental requirements.
- Oversee administrative activities related to the implementation and evaluation of MFOS services.
- Exercise leadership and ensure discipline and accountability among staff.
- Supervise and mentor students during their training and education.
- Engage in operational and clinical research to advance the field.
- Deliver general and specialist dental services within the Oral Health Teaching platform.
What You’ll Need
- Appropriate qualification for registration with the HPCSA as a Dental Specialist in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Specialist post-registration.
- Valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
- Strong leadership abilities and knowledge of governance structures in health services.
- Proficiency in clinical governance and service delivery models.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in research and clinical supervision of students at various educational levels.
- Good computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
