What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive MFOS clinical services across multiple facilities.
• Participate in normal working hours and after-hours duties as per departmental requirements.
• Oversee administrative activities related to the implementation and evaluation of MFOS services.
• Exercise leadership and ensure discipline and accountability among staff.
• Supervise and mentor students during their training and education.
• Engage in operational and clinical research to advance the field.
• Deliver general and specialist dental services within the Oral Health Teaching platform.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualification for registration with the HPCSA as a Dental Specialist in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Specialist post-registration.
• Valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
• Strong leadership abilities and knowledge of governance structures in health services.
• Proficiency in clinical governance and service delivery models.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in research and clinical supervision of students at various educational levels.
• Good computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
