What You’ll Do

• Perform general maintenance of infrastructure, including cleaning and painting of walls, roofs, and ceilings.
• Fill potholes and clear road edges or fallen trees to maintain safe access.
• Water plants and manage the upkeep of hedge trees and campsites.
• Assist in the rehabilitation of degraded forest areas and control alien plant species.
• Participate in fire management, including skoffelling of fire belts, spraying, and firefighting activities.
• Manage woodlot tasks such as reducing stumps and controlling invasive species.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of Grade 10 (NQF level 2) or a relevant equivalent qualification.
• No prior experience is required, making this an ideal role for motivated individuals ready to learn.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices, cleaning protocols, and safety policies.
• General administration skills and a basic understanding of finance principles.
• A valid driver’s license is essential for mobility within work areas.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and manage conflicts effectively.
