What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the efficient check-in and check-out processes for guests
  • Assist guests with reservations and booking activities
  • Handle guest requests promptly and resolve any issues that arise
  • Maintain accurate billing and records for all guests
  • Ensure that reception and public areas are consistently ready for guests
  • Collaborate with various departments to deliver exceptional service
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and actively seek feedback for improvement
  • Manage telephone inquiries and maintain accurate records
  • Facilitate the readiness of resort facilities, ensuring all amenities are in top condition
  • Supervise hospitality staff and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Compile reports and assist in collecting revenue
  • Provide guests with accurate information regarding resort activities

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 qualification as recognized by SAQA
  • National Diploma in Travel and Tourism, Eco-Tourism, Tourism Management, or Hospitality Management (B-Tech will be an added advantage)
  • A computer certificate is also advantageous
  • Experience in tourism or hospitality services (2 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to supervise a team and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • A proactive approach to conflict resolution and guest satisfaction
