What You’ll Do

• Clean kitchen utensils and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Provide catering support services for various events and functions.
• Keep track of kitchen utensils and equipment inventory.
• Implement hygiene and safety measures in food preparation.
• Maintain quality control measures for all food provided.
• Manage garbage disposal and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
• Prepare food, snacks, and beverages, including water, tea, coffee, and cold drinks.
• Set up and convey crockery, cutlery, and equipment to dining areas.
• Serve food and beverages to guests and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Report any waste or losses related to food supplies.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 9/10 or NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
• No prior working experience is required for this position.
• A passion for food service and the ability to work in a team.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to hygiene and safety.
