What You’ll Do

• Develop frameworks to guide commercial development within various reserves.
• Create commercial development strategies with clear revenue potentials for each reserve.
• Prepare commercial master plans that align with the Integrated Development Plans (IDPs).
• Conduct eco-tourism business analyses and research market trends in the industry.
• Prepare procurement documents in accordance with public sector policies and guidelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Government Technical Advisory Centre (GTAC).
• Develop and manage communication with investors to mobilize support.
• Provide technical support and oversee the procurement process for quality and integrity.
• Research and profile tourism-related products in each reserve.
• Facilitate stakeholder participation to ensure project sustainability.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 and an NQF 6 qualification in Tourism, Marketing, Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in relevant fields, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• A valid driver’s license (exceptions for persons with disabilities).
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and the ability to interpret policies and guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in feasibility studies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management abilities.
• Leadership skills and experience in stakeholder management.
