What You’ll Do

• Manage and supervise cleaning personnel to ensure proper waste disposal.
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to medical waste management.
• Clean and maintain medical waste trolleys, hospital entrances, and waste holding areas.
• Support the Principal General Foreman and Senior Administrative Officer in administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant health care waste management laws and guidelines.

What You’ll Need

• General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) or Grade 9 (Std. 7).
• Relevant experience in medical waste management within a hospital setting.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health care risk waste management practices and relevant provincial regulations.
