What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized Occupational Therapy services to clients with rehabilitation needs
- Facilitate the provision of mobility and assistive devices
- Manage clinical cases and support clients’ reintegration into their communities
- Collaborate with supervisory structures and adhere to resource management guidelines
- Participate in training and development initiatives, guiding students as needed
- Oversee inventory management for stock and equipment within the work area
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification for registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- Registration with the HPCSA as an Occupational Therapist
- For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration with HPCSA
- For Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience post-registration
- For Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years relevant experience post-registration
- Valid Code driver’s license
- Strong therapeutic knowledge and skills, particularly in managing clients with neurological deficits
- Ability to adapt to diverse client needs and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with community resources
