What You’ll Do

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and elimination needs.
  • Provide basic clinical nursing care under the supervision of registered nursing staff.
  • Effectively utilize available resources to enhance patient care.
  • Maintain professional growth through continuous learning and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Keep accurate records of patient care and progress to ensure continuity and quality of care.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
  • Registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
  • For Grade 1: No experience required.
  • For Grade 2: At least 10 years of relevant nursing experience after registration with SANC.
  • For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant nursing experience after registration with SANC.
  • Willingness to work after hours and assist at other clinics within the sub-district when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, self-discipline, and motivation.
