What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and elimination needs.
- Provide basic clinical nursing care under the supervision of registered nursing staff.
- Effectively utilize available resources to enhance patient care.
- Maintain professional growth through continuous learning and adherence to ethical standards.
- Keep accurate records of patient care and progress to ensure continuity and quality of care.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
- Registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
- For Grade 1: No experience required.
- For Grade 2: At least 10 years of relevant nursing experience after registration with SANC.
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant nursing experience after registration with SANC.
- Willingness to work after hours and assist at other clinics within the sub-district when necessary.
- Strong communication skills, self-discipline, and motivation.
