About the Role
The Financial Clerk Supervisor position within the Financial Management Services at the South African Police Service (SAPS) is a critical role based in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo. What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive financial administrative support to the SAPS.
- Manage effective and efficient telephone services related to financial queries.
- Administer allowances and overtime remuneration for personnel.
- Maintain the district revenue fund and manage cash advances and claims.
- Oversee miscellaneous financial accounting aspects within the department.
- Assist in budget management and salary-related matters.
- Control both physical and financial resources in your immediate work environment.
What You’ll Need
- Proven competency in the core functions of the Financial Clerk Supervisor role.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in financial management or related fields.
- An applicable three (3) year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) is an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is preferable.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
