What You’ll Do

• Analyse and appraise investment proposals related to the Jobs Fund.
• Conduct financial appraisals and due diligence on submitted applications.
• Prepare appraisal reports and assess compliance with financial guidelines.
• Liaise with stakeholders to promote adherence to financial policies.
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and report on the progress of funded projects post-investment.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance financial reporting and forecasting.
• Promote knowledge management through research and dissemination of findings.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Finance, Project Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• A postgraduate qualification in Finance is advantageous.
• Minimum of 4 years of post-training/internship experience.
• Experience in the public sector is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Knowledge of South African economic development policies and grant management.
